Well, September 2013 is almost over and I haven't posted lately, but I see my blog has traffic,
so some body must be interested! :)
Thank you for reading, I really appreciate that I have an audience for my work- and for my writing.
First update, is about me.
People who know me personally know that September is a very rough time for me. It is the anniversary of a life-changing event that has really given me writing fodder and material but also a lot of physical pain, and emotional wreckage.
With that said, I made it through September ! And things are getting easier. (Thank God!)
Next, my writing.
I am crafting an artists book about the disaster on September 5, 2010 and its forthcoming, Spring/Summer 2014
This process includes diligent research, getting together records, and sitting down writing about some heart-wrenching subjects.
I am also officially an editor and working on a manuscript with a very talented writer who was a former professor of mine, this book will be seeking publication after the holidays, we are scheduled to finish the process in December. This has been really exciting!
I am writing poetry, essay, and taking a stab at Fiction in a workshop with Adam Levin.
I am reading Robert Browning's persona poems. I am enjoying my favorite time of year,
